Roger Alderman, Painter
Painter Roger Alderman stayed at our KOA while he spent several weeks exploring and painting landscapes in the Gila National Forest as well as the famous Kneeling Nun rock formation that can be seen from our campground.
Roger has been painting in the mountains and deserts of the Southwest since the early 1980’s. He works with oil paint, on location and in the studio, putting down on canvas a genuine feel and love for his subject matter. “I strive to capture a real sense of color, form, time and place to let the spirit of my subjects come through."
Roger Alderman is represented in Silver City by Eklektikas Gallery on Yankee Street. More of Rogers work can be seen on his website at www.rogeralderman.com.
Our area offers a diversity of landscapes from clear mountain vistas, forested peaks, river valleys, craggy desert canyons, and ancient cliff dwellings. It’s a painter’s paradise.
