Sixth Annual Red Paint PowWow

The Sixth Annual Red Paint PowWow is a competition among Native Americans from across the continent, held in memory and recognition of the Chihene Apache who lived — and continue to live — in Southwestern New Mexico.
Traditional dancers compete for prizes in a number of categories, accompanied by native drummers and singers. Doors open at 9 am daily, and Native American handmade products are available inside the arena and outside throughout the powwow.
