Nice, clean facility.
We decided to stay a third night
because of the sites Jim told us about.
Thanks for a nice stop on
our vacation.

16th Annual Run to Copper Country Car Show
August 17 - 19, 2007
Where is it?
Look for classic cars and car devotees at Gough Park in beautiful downtown Silver City. Online at www.coppercountrycruizers.com, or email george@zianet.com.
Hot cars from the past — dozens of them, in every shape and color — are
the attraction for visitors to the 16th Annual Run to Copper Country
Car Show, sponsored by The Copper Country Cruizers.
Each year, the Cruizers use the money raised at this event, which draws
car enthusiasts from across the Southwest, to support charities and
scholarship funds.
During the show, exhibitors feature meticulously restored autos, both
the classic and the obscure, from 1973 and earlier. Awards and trophies
are presented in a number of restoration and showmanship categories.
Throughout the show schedule, the Cruizers also sponsor cruises
downtown and evening dining. The cruizers are a family-oriented auto
club, and booths and other activities will be available during the show.
The show is limited to vehicles from 1973 and earlier. Entries from classic car owners are $35 per vehicle, and more
information on registration and show requirements is available from the
cruizers web site.
